What is the duration of the programme?

Each cohort will run for a duration of 6 months from the commencement of the programme.

What is the nature of work in the programme?

Supporting Map of Justice in its initiatives and programmes are completely voluntary in nature. Hence, the position is unpaid.

What will be my working hours?

As the programme will be in operation in digital spaces, the inscribers while not having any time commitments, would have to commit to outputs designed under the programme, set weekly and monthly targets and commit accordingly.

The programme assistants, on the other hand, will be expected to complete a minimum of 15 - 20 hours per week, as required, throughout the duration of the project. They will be provided with time-sheets and task list to properly manage their schedules to complete their task.

What are the qualifications and requirements to be a Programme Assistant?

Map of Justice welcomes applications from all legal enthusiasts to support our inscribers in building a self-regulating society.

Basic qualifications and requirements include:
 • Undergraduate students with a social science background (preferably 3rd year law students);
 • Ability to conduct desk-based or field-based research;
 • Ability to multitask;
 • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
 • Proficient in English and Bangla writing skills;
 • Adequate computer and technology skills;
 • Professional telephone and email etiquette.

Will I receive any certificate after completing my commitment at Map of Justice?

After completing the programme successfully, all our inscribers and programme assistants will receive a certificate of excellence and recognition for their inputs, efforts, expertise, and time at Map of Justice.

Basic qualifications and requirements include:
 • Master's Degree(s) in the required field;
 • Leadership and managerial skills;
 • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
 • Experience on commissioning and executing research work;
 • Experience working in the social science and development organisations and/or institutions;
 • Proficiency in English and Bangla;
 • Ability to manage, coordinate and handle a team.
