Tohinur Islam
Executive Director & Founder
Ms Islam is an Independent Legal Researcher. She has completed her LL.M from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) & L.L.B (Hons.) from BRAC University. Her research interests compasses of International Economic Law, International Law, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Comparative Constitution Law, International Environmental Law, Family Law, Legal Theories, History & Justice.

Maimuna Syed Ahmed
Founder
Ms Ahmed is a Chevening Scholar and is currently working as a lecturer at Independent University, Bangladesh. She has completed her second masters in MSc in Human Rights, from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She completed her LL.M. degree from Bangladesh University of Professionals and LL.B. (Hons.) from BRAC University. Her core interest areas include Human Rights, Criminology & Criminal Justice, National and Digital Security, International Law and Relations and Comparative Constitutional Law.
Shahriar Yeasin Khan
Executive Editor & Founding Member
Mr Khan is a Barrister-at-Law, called to the Bar at The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. He has practiced in various legal roles in England, Bangladesh, the Netherlands and in Cambodia. He was a Lincoln’s Inn Scholar to both the International Criminal Court and the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, where he worked in the prosecution trial and appeal teams respectively.

Ali Mashraf
Executive Member
Ali Mashraf is currently working as a Lecturer at East West University. He has completed his LLB Honors & LLM with specialization in International Law and thesis on Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Department of Law, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He co-coordinates the law clinic program of East West University. His Research interests includes Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Arafat Ibnul Bashar
Executive Member
Mr. Bashar is a Commonwealth Shared Scholar, pursuing an LLM in Human Rights at the University of Glasgow. He is currently serving as a Lecturer (on study leave) in the School of Law, Chittagong Independent University. He has obtained his LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M. from the University of Chittagong, and a Diploma in ESDR from Kathmandu School of Law (Nepal). He has published in various national and international journals and is the author of Outlines of Private International Law. He has also served as a reviewer for several journals, including SCLS Law Review and Asia Blogs, and is enrolled as an Advocate in the Subordinate Judiciary of Bangladesh. His research interests lie in the fields of international and national human rights law, constitutional and administrative law, climate change, environmental law, public and private international law, sports law, and history.
