Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interest in public relations, media, marketing, or corporate communications.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms and tools.

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a bonus.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Creative, with a strong ability to think outside the box and contribute to fresh ideas.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of communications.

Responsibilities

1.Social Media Management:
Assist in managing social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), including scheduling posts, creating visuals, and responding to comments or inquiries. Monitor social media trends, track engagement, and help analyse performance metrics. Support with content creation, including graphics, videos, and captions.

2.Media Relations Support:
Assist in preparing press materials, including press releases, media kits, and pitches. Help coordinate and manage media outreach, tracking press coverage and compiling media reports. Assist in maintaining media contact lists and ensuring up-to-date information.

3.Internal Communications:
Support the development and distribution of internal communications, such as company newsletters, employee updates, or event announcements. Assist in organizing internal events or meetings to improve employee engagement and communication.

4.Event Support:
Assist in planning and coordinating company events, webinars, and conferences. Help with event promotion, logistics, and post-event communication (e.g., thank you notes, follow-ups).

5.Administrative Support:
Assist with organizing and maintaining communication-related files, records, and documents. Provide general administrative support to the communications team, including coordinating meetings, scheduling calls, and organizing project timelines
