The National Moot Court Competition 2026 stands as a premier platform for aspiring legal minds across Bangladesh to showcase their advocacy skills, legal reasoning, and courtroom presence. Set to be one of the most intellectually rigorous and prestigious events of Bangladesh this year as well, this competition invites law students from institutions nationwide to engage in simulated national court proceedings, argue complex legal issues, and contribute to the development of legal education through spirited debate and research.
The competing issues of this year's competition are food safety, public health protection and regulatory limitations against private entities in the context of the right to safe food. In this competition, participants from across the country will be appearing before the fictitious Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bongo Desh.

Eligibility: Subject to Article 7 of the Official Rules, this competition is open to students enrolled in any programme at an Undergraduate or Post Graduate Level of universities in Bangladesh.
